Branching Out
Social Connection Groups

The goal is of these groups is to provide a fun and neurodivergent-affirming experience where students can further develop their skills to build and maintain friendships. Support is guided by the fundamentals of ABA but individualized to the needs of each participant. Registration includes a detailed intake and matching process to ensure participants are grouped with peers who have similar goals and interests. The focus of each group are customized each semester based on group members but include topics such as social emotional learning (including perspective-taking, negotiation, conflict resolution), self-advocacy skills, and problem solving. Groups are offered 3 times a year in the fall, winter, and spring. Each session is 1-1.5 hours long. Participants may also receive other services but do not need to be a current client to participate.  Please contact me with any questions or to set up a free intake consultation.
